Meet Brittany Caldwell
Hi, my name is Brittany and welcome to my page.
I am currently a remote editorial assistant at Innovative Publishing. I am also a former content creator living in Orlando, FL. I have experience in writing, creating social media content and handling local news logistics. My most recent job was at WFTV Channel 9, where I managed the assignment desk, wrote stories for the website, and composed content for social media platforms and app push notifications.
I’m on a journey to find the hidden gems of the world and unique ways to showcase stories on different platforms.
Writing stories about people and topics that are overlooked is why I am passionate about journalism. Hearing what they have to say and getting to tell those stories in creative ways is fulfilling.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in sociology. Go Knights, and charge on!
I hope that I can use what I have learned as a multimedia journalist to share unique stories and help make an impact in my community.
When I am not writing words for a living, I love to read and go to Walt Disney World. I enjoy documenting my adventures on Instagram and YouTube, where you’ll find me sharing tips and memories.
